Una's discovery process

Regardless of category, the Una team follows the same process for each area of spend when onboarding a new member.

If you join looking to save money on food costs, here's what you can expect:

Step 1. Discovery CallAs the first step to savings, this is where we define what success looks like for you, and set a timeline for the connection process.

Step 2. Cost AnalysisThis is where we can show real value. We'll ask for you to provide some of your most recent spend data to compare it to our on-contract pricing so we can identify savings.

Step 3: Connect to SuppliersAfter the cost analysis, we’ll work quickly to get you connected so you can start saving as a GPO member right away.

To get the most accurate savings amount, the Una team will ask for certain information related to your food spend. These items include things like the product number, product description, and the actual price you paid for each item.

Once this information is provided, we will produce a market basket comparing your information to the pricing within our contracts. We can do this across several food distributors to find the best value for your organization.

After the analysis is complete, you will get a spreadsheet returned back to you showing the results and how they compare to Una's pricing, along with the percentage of savings shown.
