Kris Lance

Director of Operations

Kris is the Director of Operations at UNA. He uses his extensive leadership and management experience to help each department communicate and work together as a true team. Kris strongly believes in exercising servant leadership and is dedicated to ensuring his colleagues know their value and have everything they need to succeed. His laser focus on process improvements combined with his ambitious approach to all tasks consistently yields impressive results.

Kris moves the needle at UNA by making sure everyone is communicating effectively, operating at maximum efficiency, and working smarter, not just harder.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Harding University. Kris’s passion and unique ability to focus on the details while maintaining the big picture has made for an impressive career in management. His athletic accomplishments in wrestling, rugby, MMA, and several other sports have taught him to live an intentional life, and that commitment is what creates success. 

Kris joined UNA because:

“The culture, hands down, no question. I could immediately tell this team had great culture from the top down, that it was a natural part of the leadership. It was clear that the executives practice what they preach and it was contagious. In my interview someone described the group as a ‘room full of unicorns,’ and it really is this special team full of high-performing people with the best intentions. I’m humbled to be a part of it.”

  • Q. If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
    A. “I’d freeze time — because then I could I do absolutely anything I wanted. One more hour a day would change the game.”
  • Q. What’s your weirdest / most-unique hobby?
    A. “Trying to break personal records. I love seeing people succeed so sometimes I make friends workout plans and meal plans. I love giving free advice (so long as it’s asked for).” 
  • Q. What’s your favorite meal?
    A. “Capital Grille’s bone-in Kona crusted dry aged KC strip with shallot butter.”
