Anthony is UNA’s fearless leader. He’s an experienced Entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of executing and providing value within the group purchasing industry. Anthony is skilled in everything from sales & marketing, to strategy and leadership, to competitive sports. His keen insights, strong business background, and go-getter attitude drive the vision of the entire UNA team.
Anthony’s primary goal as President is to bring out the best in his team. To genuinely encourage, coach, and lead well. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty when necessary in the day-to-day operations and often encourages everyone to never forget the basics:
“We can’t ever forget the simple habits that helped us start and build this company. Because it’s those habits of integrity, going the extra mile, not being afraid to adapt, and exceeding customer expectations that will take us into the future.”
Anthony studied Economics & Finance (not to mention played a little baseball) at McKendree University. Since then, he’s spent the majority of his career focused on business, sales, consulting, and marketing. Whatever the role, his favorite parts have always been building businesses and solving complicated problems.
Anthony started UNA because he saw a clear problem in the industry. There were obvious needs that all professionals, associations and businesses had; clear opportunities for savings that were being missed. He and his partners wanted to do something that would be different. They didn’t want to just be another GPO or affinity partner that simply provided a discount. Anthony wanted to create a GPO that would lead and innovate within the industry. So he built UNA around that mission: to provide customers not only with the best discounts, but to make GPOs fun, genuinely helpful, and bring the industry into the 21st century.
